Thrill seekers from everywhere are enjoying this sport, which takes place on the CN Tower overlooking the city of Toronto. 

Edge Walk is one of the most thrilling attractions to come about in years, and it consists of walking around the edge of one of the world's tallest buildings. That's right, a mere 356 m/ 1168 ft/ 116 stories off the ground. Visitors who wish to enjoy this unique trip are paired up with guides who work with groups of 6, all attached to the building with harnesses that are connected to an overhead trolley system that allows them to walk on the edge of a platform that surrounds the top of the building. 

Pushing the Limits

If you ever thought that you had no nerve, join any group making this thrilling--or crazy--adventure. Once you are buckled into your harness and attached to the trolley, you can walk as close to the edge as you want--or dare--under the guide's supervision. Not only that, but guides encourage participants to challenge themselves to whatever they wish while on the edge. This includes quite literally hanging out over the edge of the platform, which includes, most notably, breathtaking views of the city and Lake Ontario below.

World's Tallest Walk

In November 2011, the Guinness Book of World Records proclaimed the CN Tower Edge Walk as "the Highest External Walk on a Building" which quickly prompted visitors from all over the world to take part not only for the thrill, but to make it the scene of marriage proposals, wedding parties, birthday and anniversary celebrations, even corporate team building sessions and client appreciation parties. The Edge Walk experience takes approximately 1.5 hours, with the walk itself taking about 30 minutes. And when your walk is over, you will dine at the 360 Degree restaurant on the same level.
